The Comptroller General of Customs Honours Western Marine Officers For Seizure of Over 10 Tonnes of Cannabis Sativa.
This happens to be the highest seizure of Cannabis Sativa on high sea by Nigeria Customs Service. The seized item was destroyed on the 26th June 2020 at Falola Beach in Badagry West Local Government Area of Lagos State in the presence of relevant sister agencies.
It is on this premise that the CGC Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali (Rtd.) issued letters of commendation to gallant Officers and Men involved in the aforementioned seizure.
