Like its predecessor, the KeyGo Gen 2 pairs a foldable display with a built-in keyboard, making it easy to carry and set up on the go. The device is currently available through a crowdfunding campaign, where backers must pledge $280 plus shipping to reserve a unit. Deliveries are expected to begin in May 2026. As with any crowdfunding project, there is a financial risk, and backers could potentially lose their entire pledge. However, the first-generation KeyGo was reportedly delivered to supporters and largely met its promised specifications.

The new KeyGo Gen 2 features a 13-inch touchscreen that supports up to ten-point multi-touch input. Compared to the previous model’s 12.8-inch panel with a 1920 × 720 resolution, the new version offers a higher resolution, though the refresh rate remains at 60 Hz. The device can connect to a wide range of hardware, functioning either as a primary display for a mini PC or as a secondary screen alongside an existing monitor. It includes two USB-C ports, with power supplied via USB Power Delivery.

Because the display is recognized as a standard monitor, it works without the need for additional drivers. The Gen 2 also adds built-in speakers. It measures 12.6 × 5.9 × 0.8 inches and weighs 2.2 pounds. The keyboard features adjustable backlighting with multiple effects. If the campaign reaches certain stretch goals, the manufacturer plans to introduce additional keyboard layouts, adjustable display brightness, and Bluetooth connectivity. The project has already surpassed its funding target, although the relatively modest goal of just over $3,800 appears to have been more of a placeholder than a true production benchmark.
